I have published estimated
freelance rates, however I tailor my packages to my clients, and each rate is worked out on a individual basis to ensure affordability and quality of service. For example if the work is for a voluntary organisation, a charity or a start up, or even for personal use, I will work with you to a budget you can afford. You can see my general published rates, however I recommend you contact me for a full quotation specific to your needs.
These rates are only my standard published freelance rates. I offer discounts for returning clients and also can arrange special rates for start-ups, individuals, voluntary organisations and charities. Additionally these are only a guide, and may increase or decrease dependent upon your actual requirements.

Ad Hoc Amendments £25.00 per hour
If you have an existing website, I can make minor amendments, tidying up or add new pages at an
hourly rate, so you only pay for what I do. Ideal for small amendments or ad hoc web design requirements.
Conversion from HTML to CSS £ 200.00 set free, plus £25.00 (per page type)
If you have an existing website which you would like converted to CSS so that it is
compatible, and
performs better in search engines, I can do this for a set fee of £200.00, plus £25.00 per page type (i.e. if
you have 10 pages, but there are only 2 layouts then that would be £250.00).
One Page Website £200.00
A basic one-page website including your contact details, logo, clear text and photos/images as
required (a maximum of five images)
Class 3 Website £500.00
A five-page website using the latest standards - compliant with XHTML and CSS and tailor made
to suit your requirements.
Class 2 Website £700.00
A ten-page website using the latest standards - compliant with XHTML and CSS and tailor made to suit
your requirements.
Class 1 Website on request

All the above rates excluding hosting and domain purchasing. I provide these at cost price and can recommend on both sides.

Creation of headed paper, business card, web banner, with compliments slip
Ad hoc Design £25.00 per hour
If you have a design requirement, or require amendments to an existing design, require touch ups to photos or anything similar, the above hourly rate would be applicable.
I work with a printers to take your design from concept to reality. I do not add anything to my fees as a result of the liaison with the printers to determine a quotation and I pass the cost on to you without a mark up. Because I use them regularly I have a good deal with them. All rates above are exclusive of any printing.

All prices are exclusive of stationery/supplies/equipment etc. These will be charged in addition to the above costs, where necessary. No expenses will be charged without prior agreement with the client.
Audio Transcription
The professional industry standard* allows ONE hour to transcribe 15 minutes of clearly recorded speech. It therefore takes a MINIMUM of 4 hours to transcribe a one hour recording. However, transcription can take much longer for focus groups, meetings, seminars and conferences with multiple participants - perhaps as much as 8 or 10 hours for one hour of recorded tape or a bad quality, unclear recording.
